The Deseret Papers pass convocation!

The Deseret papers, a series of bills outlining the Federation of Deseret, were passed in convocation this Saturday, after a 2 hour session amending and outlining the bills. Representatives Jensen, Mendenhall, and Westover carried the bill to the majority. Among those who voted to veto the bill are Representatives Clark and Brumbaugh. One abstained.

The bill will now go to President Clemens, who recently won re-election, to be put into law. This will be the first bill he signed this term, and is already outlining his domestic agenda for his second term.
