State News Update:

The USRM has established weekly meetings for the government, the president signs executive order A004, changing the senate and amending the constitution, a merit-membership system is set up, and the DFR constitution draft will be presented within the next month.

Weekly governments meetings (open to citizens) have been set up within the USRM.

I has signed EO A004. According to Executive Order A004, "the senate shall henceforth be appointed by the President." The USRM has effectively turned into an autocracy led by the president, apart from the fact he is still elected. It also creates a new legislative body, the "People's Assembly", elected by the people, as an advisory to the Senate and President.

A merit-membership system is set up, with a draft presented next month. It will work somewhat like this:

  1. The nation will be divided into two groups, present and non-present citizens.

  2. Present citizens will be able to hold office, be in the people's assembly, attend meetings, etc.

  3. Non-present citizens will be counted as citizens, but not have the benefits present citizens have

  4. A non-present citizen can become a present citizen by contributing into conversations within the USRM, coming to meetings, writing bills for the senate, among other things.

  5. A present citizen is demoted to non-present when they fail to contribute to the overall nation

As most of you know, the DFR (Democratic Fellovian Republic) was acquired by the USRM by vote of its' citizens. A first draft for the constitution of the DFR will be presented to its' parliament sometime in the next month. Its' government will have a Monarch (similar to the UK's monarch) but ran as a republic.
